The old way: traditional agencies hire a video production company like Storyforma. They take most of your budget for creating the overall concept. They have minimal involvement in the actual video production.
The new way: Storyforma is the creative agency and the video production company. This means less moving parts, and a more affordable price than a traditional agency. The whole process is managed from concept through to post production.
In the past 10 years we have helped companies like Masterclass, Sambazon, and ESPN bring exceptional visions and products to life. Want to be the next one?
Our storytelling strategy is designed to create an emotional connection with your customers. We'll show them the benefits your product has for them - not just its features – giving them a chance to visually EXPERIENCE the transformation.
The result? More connection. More conversions. And ultimately, more sales.
People buy from companies that they feel connected to. Cinematic storytelling helps create emotional connections between your brand and your audience.
Your culture is what makes you stand out from competitors. Cinematic storytelling can be a great way to highlight your brand's culture for customers and potential employees.
Your brand is the story of how you overcame an obstacle and created a solution. The better you tell that story, the better you'll connect with your customers.

There are many variables that go into this. What's the goal of your project? What kind of story you want to tell?
First, we need to learn about your business and see if cinematic storytelling is right for you. We found the best way to do this is on a 15-minute call. You can schedule one here.
There are three main stages - pre-production, production, and post-production.
Pre-production is where we will plan the shoot. This includes steps like concepting, scripting, storyboarding, casting, crew selection, location selection, rentals, permits, scheduling, and tech scouting.
Production is when the actual filming of the video happens. A lot of things can go wrong at the last minute, so the success of this stage depends on the quality of the crew and the work done in pre-production.
Post-production is where the raw footage comes together to bring your vision to life. Choosing the perfect combination of camera angles and “takes” to produce a beautiful video is an art itself - good editing takes raw footage and turns it into a story that people genuinely enjoy. Other post-production activities include visual effects (VFX), sound design, music, voice-over (VO), and coloring.
Our ultimate goal is to make the whole process as simple as possible very step of the way.
This depends on the scope and complexity of the project. In most of our past ones, concept to post-production of a commercial can take up to 4 weeks, while some longer-form pieces can take up to 4-8 weeks.
Schedule a quick meeting to tell us about your business and your goals. This will help us understand if our services are a good fit for you.
